Using The New Templates….

Jessica had asked me if I saw the new kit out from ScrapWOW. Well, I had seen it, and it is gorgeous. I knew just what she was hinting at, too. She knew it would make a fantastic card set. I have to agree, it’s just that I am not as technically inclined as she is, and since my last post I have been busy learning “digi scrapping”. It seems that Adobe Photo Shop is the standard program used, but although I haved learned the rudiments of that, I preferred to stick to easier software. But, now that I know how to use digi kits - I, too, can make digi cards!! I made these with the new kit from ScrapWOW. This is from a kit called “Life Is Good” by Kelly Shults. The colors are wonderful, and I simply had to use the floral border!

Now to the new Kreate-A-Lope Kit that aired on QVC, this card and envelope were made from the ‘Half Sheet’ templates. There is no easier card to make than a half-sheet! Just take a 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper and fold it in half! It’s a great size for a large card. For this card, I created my card front digitally, printed it out, cut it out with deckle scissors, and pasted it on the front of the card. For the envelope, I used a coordinating patterned paper, followed the envelope template instructions, created my envelope, and then pasted it onto the front of the envelope.Â

This set obviously belongs in the category of “cards to be handed to the recipient” - as the flowers wouldn’t mail well!Â
