I’ve got some more questions I can answer here.
If your judging is done by ‘view popularity’ - then won’t it hurt me to enter late? No, obviously this can’t be a ‘first one to enter - wins’ contest. But, this also isn’t the kind of contest where it is best to hang back and wait until the last minute to enter, either. (I know, I do that, too - I wait to see all the other entrants, and then hurry up and try to beat the deadline!! - But usually for me, though, I see all the great entries and decided not to enter.) This isn’t that kind of contest. This is about showing your art - and your art is real - and getting into a manufacturer’s gallery for all to see.Â
But to answer your question: ‘view popularity’ is only an element to the judges’ decisions. The ‘view popularity’ element will have to take into consideration the date the entry was posted.
Based on the set up and format of this particular contest….. If it were me - I would “enter early and enter often”.Â
No, “number of entries” isn’t a ‘judging element’ - I only meant that more entries always means more opportunites to win.
