Black Friday - The Ultimate Shopping Expedition

We love Black Friday Shopping! We approach the event as if planning for a Spec Ops mission. We download and print all of the store flyers early from the web, and then start highlighting the items we are looking for. Yellow highlighter means “let’s take a look”, blue means “probably”, and red means “let’s not go home with out this!”. Then we plan out which store to hit first, and in what order (usually based on which store opens first, and which ones have our “must haves”. It’s a lot of fun, and since we are operating on 3 hours sleep (we don’t get home until late from Thanksgiving, and we’re out the door at 3am for the shopping), we’re usually punchy and giggly and looking for coffee!Â
This year, we talked our nephew’s wife into taking the plunge, and since we convinced her to go, we wanted to give her a little something to shop with. We’re including a gift card. This was created using the FreeStyle (TM) Bucket Card, Envelope and Liner Templates . I love creating the Bucket card, because when you create it upside down it looks like a purse! So, above is the outside of the card, and again, the envelope is fully decorated because we’re handing the card to her in person.Â
Below is the inside of the card and the back side of the envelope. The envelope flap is fashioning the liner with coordinating paper!
