Another Snowman Card….

Here’s a 6″ x 6″ Winter greeting card.  The frame around the snowman was created by spraying ink onto stamping cardstock, but with a small square piece of scrap paper set in the middle to ‘mask’ the area for the snowman.  Then the snowman was stamped and embossed in the middle.  Extra stamping was used to soften the line between the sprayed ink and the clean white area.  The envelope is a coordinating 6″ creation.

You may recognize the sentiment here on the inside from a few of the other cards recently posted.  It is a great time saving technique to print out a sentiment onto vellum paper.  If you know the size of the inside of your card - you can create these up in advance.  It is a lot less expensive and certainly more personal than trying to buy card sentiments or rubber stamps that may not say exactly what you wish to say.
