Card Making Tips and Techniques
I love this card, it is a Free Style Parallelogram card, envelope and envelope liner. It has such a hip and fresh look, both in the colors and the shape.
I’m beginning a new post series on “Tip and Tricks with Templates”, and I will start right here. If you follow the directions you won’t have this problem, but on envelopes like these they are not symmetrical and the liner has to be cut on the right side of the paper. I’m sure there are people who could take one look at the liner template and know immediately which side has to be cut to have the pattern showing, but I have to look at it a few times, and even then, I may have to recut. As I mentioned, though, the instructions are correct, I just know now to pay attention to which side of the template is facing up and which side of the paper I’m tracing on.
While we are working on the new Blog Challenge, I think I’ll keep posting these tips regularly.
