Card Making - Cards to Give

Welcome to the new series - Cards to Give.  We’ve just complete our 10 card series on cards and envelopes designed to send through the mail.  This series will be on decorating the enveloping to coordinate with the card.  The presentation of the two together is a show stopper.  It will make the perfect set for giving to someone in person either as the gift (with a little something inside) or to be the card presented with a gift.  What could be more “upper scale”?  The card above, for example, is for a the birth of a baby boy, and the decorated tag on the coordinating envelope is all set for the recipient’s name in a flourishing scrawl.  The inside is blank for you to add your sentiment - and the whole presentation so outshines a plain white envelope - well, there’s really no comparing, is there?

It isn’t that these cards must be given by hand, they could, of course, be included with a gift that is being mailed, or be put in a clasp envelope and sent through the post, as well.  The hand made card in and of itself says “I really care about you”.

This card and envelope were created using the A7 Kreate-A-Lope set by Green Sneakers.
