Yes, It’s Christmas Time

Christmas Teets

Yes, Jessica knows that I am constantly submitting to publishers, and it is indeed time for the Holidays! I created this A2 card from Amy Teets’ new monthy kit from ScrapWOW.

By using the A2 envelope template from Green Sneakers, I simply created the white envelope from a sheet of printer paper, and then adhered the created address front to the envelope. You’ll see why the envelope matches when you see the inside of the card.

When you add in the creative options that the computer allows you - you can create anything! And, now that I’ve created one of these - it would only take minutes to create 10 more, or 20 more. Most graphics programs (and Microsoft Word) allow you to merge your mailing address list into your project. It would be simple to change the address for each envelope front, and keep making more.

If you wished to make your envelopes in one step, (instead of creating a separate envelope front and gluing it on) - you could always print the design on your paper in the correct placement, and make your envelope from there. Here’s an example of the technique. PhotoEnvelopes.

Instead of using photos, you could use your address block, and create the same effect. Have fun - it’s endless options!
