A Quick Look At Making The Card

Over the weekend I received some emails asking how I made that card and envelope, and some asking if it really is that easy.  I’ll tell you how I did it, and I’ll let you judge for yourself on how easy it is!

First, I just traced and cut out my paper using the envelope and card templates.  The templates are, however, designed for you to simply tear the paper around the edges of the template, you don’t have to use scissors.  Personally, I use a large guillotine cutter.

Then, using the same paper, I traced and cut out the envelope liner using the template and adhering the new piece to the backside of the envelope flap.  In the photo below, the envelope template liner is on top of the cut paper, for demonstration purposes, this shows you how easy it is to make everything line up.

Then, following the template instructions, I simply folded up the envelope and taped down the sides.  For the card, I traced the Kard Creator template, cut out my paper, folded the card in half, and added my embellishments to the front.  What do you think?  Really easy?  I’ve always thought so!
