Winter Cards Can Be A Nice Way To Say “Hello”

I love making Winter themed cards. There are so many options for adding texture (snow) and dimension. Here I embossed the tree in white, and it glistens. Winter can be joyous, I hope it is for you!
I used the Green Sneakers templates for the 5″ x 7″ (A7) card and envelope.

Another Snowman Card….

Here’s a 6″ x 6″ Winter greeting card. The frame around the snowman was created by spraying ink onto stamping cardstock, but with a small square piece of scrap paper set in the middle to ‘mask’ the area for the snowman. Then the snowman was stamped and embossed in the middle. Extra […]

This is Boxing Day in England. I hope it is going well for you.
Here is a matchbook style card. It is created from a piece of 4″ x 12″ double sided patterned cardstock. I’ve folded in the botton edge 1″ and folded the top down to just fit under the bottom flap. […]

Ok - It’s Dec 17th and You Still Have Cards You Want To Make….

Here’s a great solution: Card Fronts! This is the easiest way I know of to make a lot of cards quickly. A “card front” is simply the decorative front of the card - it is usually a little smaller than the finished card (folded cardstock). In the cards above, I created 4″ x […]

Just For Something A Little Fluffier

This tree is a die cut, and then I put on “Puffy Paint”. When you heat it with a heat gun, it puffs and hardens. It definitely adds more dimension to the card! The snowflakes are simple punch outs using glitter paper. This card was created with a young child in […]
