Card Making: Day 10

This card was simply called “Fall”.  Again, these papers were so pretty, I really enjoyed working with them.  It isn’t always necessary to use a large sheet of the exact same paper for making the envelope.  I like to find a coordinating (okay, and maybe less expensive) paper to create the envelope, and then put […]

Card Making: Day 9

This card was also made using the A7 (5′ x 7″) Card and Envelope Templates from Green Sneakers.  It features some Prima flowers, ribbon, and a cute rub on.  I made the address label from a Sizzix die.  I liked the ‘aged’ look of it.  Fall colors are my favorite palette.  I enjoyed using these […]

Card Making: Day 8

This card was a lot of fun to make.  I love it when you can get two of the same patterns - just in a different size.  Notice how the print on the card is smaller than the print on the envelope - yet it is the same print.  I’m sticking to using the 5″x7″ […]

Card Making: Day 7

Here’s an adorable Fall card from designer Linda Dotterer.  She’s hand stamped and colored in the cute pumpkin and layered the card with beautiful papers.  So sweet.  Thank you, Linda, for sharing this great card with us!

Card Making: Day 6

I enjoyed this, it was just hard to think of what could go with the stamping.  I colored the image in with colored pencils, and the moon is glitter cardstock.  It’s a 5″ x 7″ card and envelope made from the Green Sneaker’s templates.
I set up an album over in the Green Sneakers’ Gallery for […]

Card Making: Day 5

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the background colors and pattern for the arrow sticker are very similar to the envelope paper.  The tombstone is a velvet outlined sticker that I colored in and then used mineral spirits to ‘wash’ the pencil  lines away.  I’ve been practicing new techniques lately - trying to get […]

Card Making: Day 4

I especially liked this one.  It looked a little dangerous.  It will be perfect for the older boy I needed to make it for.  Actually, I don’t think you’re ever too old for Halloween.  I’m my age, and I just love it.
This is 5″ x 7″ card and envelope made from Green Sneaker’s templates.

Card Making: Day 3

These are happy little guys.  I think the happy little guy I made this card for will really like it.  The glitter cardstock makes the Jack-O-Lanterns really stand out.
This is a 6″ x 6″ card and envelope made from the Green Sneaker’s templates.  Again, it had to be shot on the purple paper, or else […]
