Joyful Card
This is a “Joyful” card. I love the wrapped presents. Again, when you have such pretty paper, it isn’t necessary to add a lot of embellishments to the front. Here I simply layered a strip of patterned paper and added an embellished tag. The sentiment on the inside will say it all. The envelope coordinates […]
Happy Christmas Card
This card is another of those that will be handed to its recipient. I usually make cards like these when they are to accompany a gift that I’m either giving or if I’m mailing the present and card in a box. The dimensional embellishment on the envelope precludes it from going through the mail. The […]
Bag Making, Box Making and Frame Making Kits
I love the Bagamites, they are cutest little way to create a gift bag. And the Kreate-A-Bag template kit has so many great sizes - this little guy is the smallest size - the other templates make much bigger bags. Perfect for gift giving - there’s a wine gift bag, and a lunch bag size, […]
Christmas Cards
This tag needed very little extra embellishment. I added a gold strip with ribbon on both ends and then set the tag on. The paper is so pretty that adding more would be too much, in my opinion. You can see a glimpse of the inside pattern - distressed paper with green polka dots - […]
Making Christmas Cards
Creating cards doesn’t have to be difficult. This is simply a sheet of 12″ x 12″ 2-sided patterned paper - cut in half, and then each 12″ x 6″ sheet is folded in half to make two 6″ x 6″ cards. The envelope is the perfect size and was created from the template from Green Sneakers. […]
I Still Have A Lot of Christmas Cards To Make
The World Card Making Blog Challenge may be done - but I still have a lot of Christmas Cards yet to make. So I thought I’d go ahead and post them here. Again, I’m using the 6″ x 6″ Card and Envelope Templates from Green Sneakers. When using these beautiful 2 sided patterned papers - […]
Card Making: Day 31 - Last, But Not Least
I had a great time making these cards. I’ve always loved working with paper, and card making is so gratifying. For one thing, I sure love not paying $5 for a card at the store! By now, of course, all of my family and friends expect hand made cards - I’m sure they would think […]
Card Making: Day 30
For this card, I stamped and wet embossed the designs. I then tore out the paper, and inked the edges. I love glittery things on Christmas cards - it always seems so festive.
This is a 6″ x 6″ card and envelope made using Green Sneaker’s Templates.
